Abstract
Let $p$ be a prime number, $a_1, a_2, \ldots a_{4p-4}$ a sequence of elements in $(\mathbb{Z}/p\\mathbb{Z})^2$, which does not contain a subsequence of length $p$ which adds up to 0. We show that if $p$ is sufficiently large, then the sequence contains exactly four different elements.
